About the role
The engineer designs and operates secure network solutions across cloud and hybrid environments, managing WAFs, firewalls, proxies and load balancers. The role covers AWS networking, FortiGate VPNs, Terraform-based infrastructure, observability and incident response, in line with PCI-DSS and SOX.
What you will do
- Design and operate secure cloud/hybrid networks
- Manage WAFs, firewalls, proxies and load balancers
- Administer AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53)
- Manage FortiGate VPNs and firewalls
- Implement IaC with Terraform
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery

- Hands-on cloud networking in high-availability production
- TCP/IP, HTTP(S), TLS, DNS, routing and VPN/IPsec
- AWS networking
- WAF, firewall and FortiGate administration
- Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible
- Monitoring platforms (ELK, New Relic, Coralogix) and Linux
- Strong written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- PCI-DSS or SOX exposure
- Fintech/payments background
- Zero-trust or DR experience
- Advanced AWS certifications
